How to arrive
BNA is 15 minutes from downtown, and Nashville is within a day's drive of most of the Southeast. There is no useful rail service, so the decision is fly-and-rent versus drive.
Friday and Saturday
Do the Country Music Hall of Fame before the Broadway crowds build, then eat in Germantown. Saturday morning belongs to Radnor Lake, and Saturday night to a songwriter round.
Sunday drive
Head south on the Natchez Trace Parkway to the double-arch bridge, stop in Leiper's Fork for lunch, and loop back through Franklin.
